The island of Fyn

The landscape of the island of Fyn consists of beautiful, idyllic countryside. The hilly, varied landscape is extremely picturesque, with its timber framed buildings, forests, lush fields, avenues of trees, hedgerows, stone walls and pollarded poplars. The 1,100 kilometres of coastline have many areas cut out by the water, the bays and the inlets, and nowhere in the region are you more than 30 kilometres from the coast.
